Raypet has been busy the past few weekends with helping out local charities! On October 19th, Raypet attended the sixth annual Pawz in the Park in Wilmington, North Carolina. This event was designed for local vendors of the pet community to come together and sell their products. This was Raypet’s first time at Pawz in the Park! It was a great turnout and a lot of people attended! Everyone who stopped by our booth was amazed by our tick removers. They liked the fact that it can be used on both humans and pets. Our collapsible bowls were also a top seller!
We got to meet a lot of people and adorable dogs too. We also saw some snakes! The snakes weren’t cute, but they were interesting to look at; at a distance of course. There was also a costume contest and to us, everyone was a winner. This event was also to promote adoptions agencies and show off their adorable dogs that are ready to be adopted. There was one agency there that only had Great Danes! Those Great Danes were also the size of a miniature horse!
Attending Pawz in the Park was a great way for Raypet to get more involved in the pet community and to get more brand awareness from local groomers and pet stores! Even though it started to rain the last hour, it was a ton of fun and worth getting rained on! We appreciated everyone who stopped by our booth! We look forward to coming back for next year!
A few weekends ago, Raypet volunteered at Rollin 4 Rescue for a local charity called Monty’s Home. This was a bowling tournament to help raise awareness and donate to Monty’s Home Dog Rescue. Monty’s Home offers programs around Southeastern North Carolina to provide knowledge on pet education, canine rescue, pet grieving and their prison training program.
Our bowling team name was the Lord of the Pins. Even though this was bowling just for fun, the Raypet employees have a hidden talent: Bowling! Each team member of Lord of the Pins had made more than one strike! Our one team member even got a Turkey! We had a lot of fun and were happy we could help out a local dog rescue.
Stay Pawsome!
